Long shot - help with song?

Sorry folks. I guess this is probably not the best place to post this; but I was strolling through style.com and came across this link:

Given the highly sophisticated nature of this forum, I thought someone would be able to help me out and identify the violin piece being played in the video?

It's actually a cello piece, and relatively famous, but I couldn't figure it out.

However, while looking into it, I came across this video, which is really, really cool. A guy plays 37 different cello parts (in widely varying ways) to come up with a very original composition:

Bach's cello suites.
Many recordings exist, notably among them those by Casals (who is credited with essentially rediscovering these long "lost" and neglected suites), Rostrapovich, and more recently Yo-Yo Ma. I believe there's a dvd out there of a PBS special or something like that documenting Ma's process of exploring and recording them. (I never saw it, so I may be wildly off in terms of what the program was really about, and for that matter may have imagined the whole thing.)

The piece is called "Cello Suite No.1 in G Major - Prelude" as pointed out before it has been done by Casals, I have the version done by Yo-Yo Ma.
