    Hi all,
First post so please be kind.
Recently fell in love with denim all over against (mid life crisis)
Esp. Sugar cane, mister freedom, SDA, flathead etc and was wandering if any of you guys can recommend any shops in London that sell these or anything similar
    Any advice much appreciated.

Seemed appropriate to necro this thread rather than start a new one. I was in London the last few days and had the same question, found a few places:

Son of a Stag - - 9 Dray Walk, Off 91 Brick Lane, E1 6QL (terrible, broken website, didn't visit so not sure what all they have; they have locations in a few other cities as well as London)
American Classics - - 20 Endell Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9BD (not a great selection, but some unusual Levis and Lee and one Sugar Cane, plus they have a bunch of Buzz Ricksons stuff, though not many sizes according to the online store)

but the one I actually went to and would really really recommend:

    Rivet and Hide - - 21 Heathman's Road, Unit G, Parson's Green, London SW6 4TJ

R&H isn't an actual store front - it's mainly an online store (UK shipping is fast and reliable, so that's a definite option too), and has a 'workshop' in a commercial building in West London, you have to book an appointment to go in. But the guy who runs it, Danny, is an incredibly nice guy, and I had no trouble arranging to meet him on short notice. He sells a whole bunch of great denim and workwear brands, including a lot of the stuff sold by Self Edge (who were the original inspiration for the business) plus some Japanese, British and European stuff SE doesn't have. The prices are reasonable - about on par with SE after currency conversion (and bearing in mind UK prices include tax). The workshop is nicely arranged and Danny's super nice, super helpful, and happy for you to try on as much stuff as you like. I went out with three TFH/RJB shirts and some 3sixteen jeans and could easily have bought half the store. Definitely worth a visit. I'll probably recommend he set up an affiliate thread or something, but could only find one reference to the store on SF which was a passing mention in a B&S post, so seemed worth giving it a mention in the mean time :)
