Question 1: suits
Someone mentioned they got a Huntsman RTW for £600 in a sale in some thread and I was wondering if anyone knew what sales are generally available in jan on/off the Row. And do any tailors have bespoke/mtm discounts?

Question 2: shoes
Do the "good" shoes ever go on sale? C&J, Church's?

With regard to the shoes, I am in Birmingham and the C&J shop here had a sale last year shortly after Christmas, I assume the C&J shops in London would too. If I recall it was just the benchgrade on sale, not the handgrade.

Hoping they have a sale again this year as i'm planning on making a couple of purchases.

I got a pair of handgrades during the summer sale at Burlington Arcade. Chap in the store told me they usually get seconds and overstock during sales.

Church's sale is usually pretty goood with 1/3 to 1/2 off a wide range of shoes.

Cleverley is, for me, the best sale on shoes in London.

I plan to be in London on January 10th. Will I have missed all the sales by then?

I am most interested in Cleverley, Foster, Swain Adeney, and Budd.

No, the sales will still be going on. But as everyone has started right after Christmas (if not before),
some of the more desirable items will have gone.

People always pooh pooh Harrods' sale, but I have found (my wife, actually) some wonderful shoes there. Maybe, luck, but my dream chocolate brown Santoni wingtips for less than 200 quid.

Has Budd Shirts started its sale? They have no website or email. If anyone happens to walk by the shop, give us the news.
