Asprey, the luxury goods store on Bond Street is holding a Sale in aid of charity.

Leather goods, belts and shoes (nothing nice, no EGs) 75% off,
Clothing (men and women) 90% off.

Venue: Science Museum, Exhibition Road (South Kensington)
Dates Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of June.

People, including yours truly (loot: 1 sheepskin coat, 1 raincoat), are buying like mad (no wonder).

very nice. I did well when the had this in NYC, including two extremely thick cashmere turtlenecks. The prices weren't 90% off though.

Yup, catching an early evening flight to London for the sale and then red-eye back to NY for the Santoni sales. Boy, do I miss the Concorde, it made sale-hopping so much easier.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
