First off I would like to say that I am terrible on computers and I don't know how to design.

I am looking to create a logo for my blog but lack all skills to actually make a logo. Are there any dummy-proof logo design programs online or any easy way to make a logo? I'm not looking for anything spectacular, I just have a few ideas but can't put them down on the computer.

I'm sure there is a design firm that could easily run a few ideas by you. It will just cost you millions of dollars.

Or you could employ some just graduated graphic designer on craigslist who might be looking for a few extra bucks.

Oh, I should probably mention that I don't make money on my blog and I just blog for fun, so I don't want to much anything. I understand that you only get junk for free, but I'm fine with that.

Depending on what impression you want to make, you might want to consider not using a logo and manipulating fonts and colors in your blog software to create a masthead. Logos are mine fields of design, and if it is meant to present a unique identity for your blog and it is a piece of clip art...well you see the message.

There are books on do it yourself logo design, but unless you have an education in some type (heheh) of design, you'll probably waste a lot of time.

My advice: Employ the KISS rule.

I have a mens wear and lifestyle blog. I also do design work myself. I agree with Costanza. I think a great font would do better than a logo, but you never know. I have done all the designing on my blog and if you're interested I can help you out. You can check out my blog at www.thedapperguru.com.
