The last is what I like as well (1105), and paired with a brown suede the shoe just kills.

I find this shoe to be quite unattractive, and I'm not quite sure if I can put my finger on why. It's everything about it, I suppose.

Why not get a Luffield in suede? That's plaintoe.

I probably would get the Luffield in suede if I could find it for $650. As I mentioned earlier when worn with trousers the Abbey will look like any other plain toe shoe.

I can't tell if it reminds me of something in vogue during the 1970s or the 1770s.

Chris, i dont know if you ever saw the 1105 last in person, it is truly a beautiful last.
i had the brampton for awhile and it was very beautiful. the shape and feel of the last on my feet is very sensible.

shoes= leather=calfskin=cow=beef=food!

I have seen the 1105 both in the Brampton and the Abbey. Especially gorgeous in suede.

oh...shoes, cows, food....yeah. i get it now. but...cow...candy?
