Loakes, Church's and Trickers made in the same factory?

I was in the basement of Charles Tyrwhitt on Jermyn St today and I overheard one of the sales associates telling a young chap and his mother that CT shoes were made in the same factory (in northampton) as Loakes, Church's and Trickers and that they were all basically the same design and construction with just minor changes to finish and shade.

I thought loake made CT shoes and I assumed that each company had their own factory. Anyone know if the sales associate was correct?

Complete bullshit. You can check out members from members who have visited the factories, here: http://www.styleforum.net/t/184419/...poke-last-measurement-and-a-factory-tour/0_50

We will actually be having one of our writers visit the Tricker's factory in the summer, and the Prada owned Church's, if possible, as well as Alfred Sargent, and perhaps some others.

Loake and CT is definitely a step under any Church's and Trickers, so my guess is that the SA was trying to place their product about their grade, a common selling technique.

Loake makes some of CT's shoes. The rest of this is nonsense. Completely different factories. Loake isn't even in Northhampton, I believe, I think it's only in northamptionshire but in a different town.
