Hi!

Loake owners, I'm wondering if you could please help out. I ordered a pair of Loake Savoys from Pediwear in size 8 (UK obviously) but they were too tight across the top of my foot. The length seemed to be ok, but I didn't walk around in them, the pain was pretty severe from the tightness. I've sent them back to be enchanged for an 8.5, but now I'm freaking out that even an 8.5 might be too small and that maybe I should email them and tell them to exchange for a 9 instead (there is only one width in Savoys apparently).

SO: if you own a Loake Savoy or a similar lasted Loake in a size 8.5 or 9 (and they're a good fit), could you please do me a huge favor and tell me what is your foot length and width in inches? That way I can compare it to my own and hopefully get some closure. And be able to sleep at night again...

Many thanks,
Toby.

I have Loake Savoy in UK size 8.5. They are a bit narrow but not too tight. I only tried them on and still never had a chance to wear them on the street. My feet are 4.1 inches wide and 10.6 inches long. I hope it helps.

Since you're asking for foot length: Note that it changes depending on the weight: Feet are shorter when measured while sitting or kneeling.

The Savoy is on the Mayfair Last, if I'm not mistaken. If you're lucky, you may find additional measurements on my site.

Hope it helps.

Same story here -- the Savoy in my usual 8UK was too tight (my instep is high-ish), and I bought it in 8.5UK. My feet - 10.5 x 4.1 inches.
