Good afternoon gents, I'm hankering after a pair of boots, these http://langfordshoes.com/default.asp...ntent=05042011 caught my eye and was wondering what the sartorial gods thought, unfortunately they didn't answer so i thought i'd ask you guys instead

They're nice but if you can afford the extra for the Barker 'Harrison' the leather quality is noticeably better.

Like the look of the boot but not loving the sole, only leather for me. Tbh the whole "if you stretch yourself a bit more you could get these" thing is a bit pointless, im sure if I asked the same questions about the barkers someone else would suggest something better for a little bit more.

Not my bag at all but if you like them... Not sure what occasion they would be suitable for though - posh boots for raking a farm midden?

Decent looking boot, but I would look for a darker brown for versatility. Personally, I would prefer a Dainite sole as well. If you're getting a heavier built boot like that, you might as well be able to slosh through the muck in them.

Won't be doing any sloshing, just though I could wear them in substitute of a pair of shoes the same colour, just something different.

I bought a pair, and they were just alright.
sold them here, and bought a pair of Grenson Fred (see them currently on Sale in my signature).

The loakes were comfortable, but I found the Grenson to be of better quality and not that much more expensive.
