New elastic sided slip-ons made by G&G for A Suitable Wardrobe, in polo suede. I think they have the best shape of any RTW offering, but then I would.

I give those 10 out of 10 voxPoints, which corresponds exactly to -10 fooPoints.

Do you have a link for ordering? I saw on the site that you came up with the idea, but don't remember where. Those are the nicest of the type I have seen, and since they are in suede, they don't have the super G&G-ness that turns me off.

I love loafers, not because they're slip-ons but because they're slip-offs. Think about those times you need to and want to get your shoes off fast. They have an erotic component completely lacking in lace-ups. A nine-hole boot? Two minutes to unlace, not made for sex, definitely, but perfect for, say, the army.

I had a girlfriend a few years back who, after lovemaking, liked to take photos of the trail of clothes on the floor, leading to the bed. The farthest away and first item off were always my loafers - it was a signal.

    They'll be on ASW tomorrow.

I still don't like side gusset shoes, but I really want to see them become the next SF knit tie, and I am counting on Will and Matt to make it happen. I might even bandwagon, but only if mafoo goes first.

I have to revoke your iGent card for failure to use shoe trees.

Wool pants like that with those loafers? Are you a teddy bear?

I guess aportnoy could purchase the entire supply. Does 50 pair sound fair?
