1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Martinis @ 8 was banned for a specific incident with a longstanding, contributing, forum member in which he was his usual obnoxious self, and even more so. Goodbye Martinis @ 8. I hope that you are enjoying yourself in Angola [IMG]

For a while it looked like he might have potential, but he was just too full of himself. At least he can enjoy Devil's Island.[IMG]

What ever happened to not speaking about (ex-)members in their absence? Let's not attack people when they can't respond.

Yes, but as long as they keep on popping up and Horacing us...all bets are off.

Fair enough. Unless I missed something though, that hasn't happened here.

This certainly was the case when LabelKing was in time out, but I don't think we have to treat Ernest or his ilk with similar respect. We are allowed to say "good riddance" to certain recently banned members (and it's not like there's a shortage).

These trolls targeting me are not random or as they make it seem, Marc Grayson on a computer.

    It's all rather strategic.

Ecfh, no worries. They will eventually get fed up of being swatted off the board.

The thing I like best about you, LabelKing, is that your posts sometimes makes me feel that StyleForum is a real time, interactive version of Pale Fire.

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Oh, speaking about banned members when they can't respond, whether they're in time out or gone for good, is lugubrious flummery. It's just ungentlemanly, and crude. Please have respect, even if you think they don't have it for you/us.

Not when you have proof and you know what you did that prompted such actions.

Oh I didn't mean that to scoff or make light of any trolling--far from it. Sorry if it came off that way.
