1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Fok on behalf of the entire Styleforum team

A member, VintageJohn, was just banned for unprovoked attacks on Labelking, based on apparent posts LK made on Film Noir Buff's site.

Now, I don't care what goes on FNB.com. I don't care if people decide to get together for a circle jerk on the FNB site and then post pictures there (although I would have a morbid curiousity to look). As long as a member of SF behaves himself on SF, he is not to be attacked here. Interforum politics will be dealt with by the administrator and the moderators when and if necessary.

That goes for everyone. An infraction of this rule will result in a timeout or ban.

    Fok.

It is in the Secret Squirrel forum. The mudslinging got pretty bad.

I assume it is probably being chewed on by rodents. Possibly rabid ones, don't know (wait, are squirrels rodents? [IMG] ) Anyway, thanks Fok. That was getting really weird. While all that stuff happenned before I found SF, the poo-flinging seemed eerily MGish from what I have read. Yech. Edit: Wow, my intarwebnetting speed is slow, lol.

I've been seeing this lately even from stuff unrelated to FNB. Reggs got some shit thrown at him from some other forum in Body Consciousness, I think.

Fok, do you think we need to make a sticky of the whole "don't bring your petty vendettas over here and attack others" thing?

I think we should just kill Marc Grayson, take pictures, and make sigs. No one ever reads stickies.

Lol. Considering the photographs I have seen are all headless, it maybe hard for me to tell the difference [IMG]
At least THAT vintagewhatshisname troll is back under its bridge for now. That was truly weird.

I don't think I have been around a forum before where there had been so many posts with terms I am completely unfamiliar with. Lets see... "Horcruxes " Good old google, lol.

It's said he resembles that ferret (rat?) dude in Harry Potter. Except he (thinks he) dresses better.

well since FNB cross posting wars are off limits, i wonder how a London Lounge flame war sounds... lots of 'thines' and 'good sirs' of course, drastic overuse of the word 'ungentlemanly', plus a healthy dose of Dawson's-Creek-esque redundant big words like flummery and lugubrious thrown in to prove intelligence. I really dont know which circle jerk i'd rather watch [IMG]

I think the trolls might be people from either AAAC or the LL.
I think we should just kill Marc Grayson, take pictures, and make sigs. No one ever reads stickies.
I doubt these people were Marc Grayson based on the grammar, the types of milquetoast insults thrown about, and the context.
