Dear friends,

I am having an overcoat out of https://apparel.hollandandsherry.co...contemporary-overcoats-navy-large-herringbone.

H&S Lambswool, Dark Navy Large Herringbone, 850g/m

I am looking for a suitable lining.
My tailor mentioned that I should look for a way heavier lining than usual.
2 easy options would be
or

However, personally like bemberg, but don't seem to find a heavy enough option.
The heaviestI can find are around 130g/m, these ones https://www.theliningcompany.co.uk/linings/twill-linings/bemberg-cupro-twill/ being around 110.
https://www.theliningcompany.co.uk/linings/twill-linings/cupro-twill-viscose-bemberg/ would be also interesting, but I can't find the weight.

Would you happen to know a provider of bemberg lining for an overcoat of a least 210 g/m?

Thank you very much for your kind advice

At that weight of fabric plus a good cashmere scarf, I would not go for anything heavier than the viscose you mentioned, not matter how cold it is outside you are good to go IMHO

Go for double breasted lower thigh length of course...

I agree with the other poster - 850 is quite heavy but a scarf is essential (as are properly lined gloves). I will say though I prefer a longer, full length overcoat than the one pictured for non-casual dress - more protection for your slacks (not only standing/walking but if you have to sit the full length coat protects better and a bit of increased warmth.
