Is it too much to wear, a linen shirt, linen sports jacket and linen pants? Or should some other material be mixed in?

And don't forget the linen pocket square!

It does seem a bit mono-texture-ic to me. I pair linen sportcoat with linen pants, but with a cotton shirt. YMMV.

+1 Mix it with some mohair or silk blend item if it plays too flat. I like the flat/sheen look sometimes.

I usually wear linen pants, shirt, and jacket all together.

Yea, just look at the old episodes of Miami Vice to see how cool the stuff looks.
