For the fall winter I have a rotation of mid-gray flannels that work with all of my fall jackets, shirts, ect. Once in a while i rotate in a pair of Dark brown cords.

I want to do the same thing for the summer, so i dont have to think about it, just have something that works with all of my summer jackets and the ones i plan to buy.
Nice plan. I have four pairs of linen pants - khaki, white, cream, and tan - that I wear all summer. I have lots of khaki pants, but my linen pants are worn mostly after the temps are consistently around 75 plus.
