Hi new here, so I searched around for a thread where you could post questions about stores in other contries / towns.

But could not find any info about Limerick. The story is this that I am going there for 4 months, sort of an internship with my school.

So just wanted to get some info and/ ord tips. If this question is stupid and lame feel free to delete this post

Will you be in UL?

Apart from the likes of Zara, H&M, etc, the only store of note is Brown Thomas.

Limerick has a bad reputation as Ireland's gang capital and there is a pretty serious feud going on down there but it won't effect you.

Limerick is actually a beautiful Georgian city with loads of great pubs.

As for shopping Hobbs is right, all the major UK high street chains and little else other than Brown Thomas.

Yeah I heard some stories about it, about it being called "stab city" but figured that I might as well just take the leap.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions really !

I was hoping that there would be some interesting stores, but I guess I better get over to London if it is some serious shoping I want to do?

Yeah, skip Dublin too and head straight for London. You'll fly from Limerick (Shannon Airport) for very little.
