lightweight, airy casual shorts/pants for summer (seersucker?)

I'm looking for recommendations on casual shorts and/or pants that are a lightweight, airy, soft fabric. I live in DC which is pretty humid, so pants would have to be really light to qualify. Along this line, if you have any recommendations for seersucker shorts/pants that are lightweight, these seem to be a good option for what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance. I searched through the threads/posts for an hour and didn't see anything similar to this thread...if there is already a thread on this, sorry please share.

Lands' End has seersucker shorts currently on sale. Please try to limit such casual shorts to very casual circumstances.
