Lidfort Shoes

Has anyone seen these particular shoes at Barney's in the states? http://www.barneys.co.jp/style/mens_.../suit_014.html I would be interested in comments from those who have seen them in person and might know something about fit.

I have not seen those particular ones but have seen other lidforts. Substantial shoes.. Barney's NY had a few. Sort of similar to Betanin and Ventura (sp). I actually liked a pair (to wear under a very heavy suit). Quality looked good. Lots of handwork. I have heard that they are much cheaper in euro than US.

The Lidfort's I've seen at Barney's are, indeed, substantial. The norvegese models in particular are quite nice.

Lidfort shoes are quality, and are mix of Italian pointy style and English Tassel, and have unique design.

you can get a pair from yoox.com at a cheap price but the only criticism is that they dont always have the all sizes.

now they have US online website as well
