carhartt is a much better example of "true to the roots" imo, and have been active since the late 1800s.

Stronghold is pretty much "bullshit" in this context , since the present stronghold just bought the rights to use the orginal name.
I wish they atleast did proper repros of the original Stronghold

They're real people photoshopped into other real photographs. For some reason, some people think this is easier than actually photographing the people in the location. It reminds me of one of Conan O' Brien's vcation slideshow segments.
