Levis 517 raw indigo

Hi I was wondering if the levi 517 raw indigo color is raw denim? I am new to raw denim this would be my first pair and I want to get a cheap pair first. I really like these because there bootcut. So my main question is does anyone know if these are raw denim and if so how should I size for these. Thanks

Yes they are raw denim. They are most likely sanforized, so there won't be much shrinkage when washed.

I used to wear these all the time like 10 or so years ago.
the new cut is way to bootish if you will.
you should try to find an older pair if you really think you want these.
the rise is also a little on the high side.
but I do think that these are a great jean if it suits your style.
