I'm looking to buy a pair of 514s, I've been reading some old threads here and want to make sure I understand things.

-The only raw 514s are the "Rigid Scraped" ones? (i.e. all other 514s are not raw).
-The "Rigid Scraped" 514s are actually levis redline jeans, but I can order them as 514s on the macys website.
-I can go ahead and buy these raw 514s in my real size (I wear 32x34, so I buy 32x34), I don't have to compensate like I would with STFs.

am I right on all these points?

thanks

Be prepared to iron down the creases, unless you're into that kind've thing.

I bought a 32x34 rigid scraped and it fit true to size. I've only had them for a few days though. Yes, there are small creases in the front on the lap, knee and shins. The lap and knee ones will be overtaken by normal whiskering, but i'm not sure what's gonna happen to the shin ones. They're not that big a deal. I'd try to iron them, but am lazy and don't want to mess them up. You can see the creases here http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.p...8&postcount=36 The flash on my camera created a shine on the jeans and made the creases stand out more than they do normally when wearing them around. I'm in between 31 and 32 but they didn't have 31x34. The 32s fit perfect in the waist though. I'll let you know in a week or so if there is any stretching, but i don't anticipate much. I have pictures of them scattered around on the forum.

What the hell kind've wear give you creases on the shin???
I love the 514 fit so I'm gonna hope those shin creases disappear. Post pics of how they wear later!
