Just a heads up, the levi's stores have marked down the 1947 501 deadstock to $79.90. The ones in Michigan have alot of size 32s and 33s. I think there is even a 34 at some of them.

Are these the LVC '47s or the ones that are usually $99?

those jeans are ok... but there isnt anything really unique about them (at least in appearance) that would make me want to shell out dollars for those jeans specifically as opposed to any other brand. they look like another generic pair of slightly above average jeans.

Guess it doesn't apply in LA...
Just called the store on Beverly and the SA told me they were on sale for $169...marked down from $325.

I have no idea if she was telling me accurate information

those are the wrong LVCs. the standard ones (no wash, no finish) are always $175 or $174 retail

Anyone know a place where the 55's are on sale? I called a few Levis stores and they don't even sell them.

Call a local store and ask them to look it up for you on their computers. Our stock is in that online database.
