I want to wear club collar shirts with a collar bar. But I have a few questions...]

ive noticed there are three kinds, the kind that screw on, safety pin, and slid on.

which are best?

also im gunna buy vintage on ebay as they can be had for like 10 bucks but retail they are like $95 any worries i should have here.

lastly i know these look good on club collars but what about other collar styles?

and last but not least lets post some pictures of good looking collar bar outfits.

I have, and have used, all three styles. The slide-ons have never worked well for me, as they tend to go askew eventually. The safety-pins are a bit cluttered for my taste. So I now use the barbell style with screw-on ends (mostly silver, but occasionally gold), and order shirts with pre-made holes in conventional collars.

I prefer the pin, it looks the least studied of all three.
