1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

White Levi 511's arrive from the states this morning. They'll be great for camouflage against this weekend's snow :uhoh:

Mocs and boat shoes should be thrown in a giant landfill and burned.

    Whats your choice of footwear?
Was watching an auction for mocs that ended up going for 60+shipping. I held off since I had just purchased topsiders in a very similar shade, perhaps I should have sprung for them

Whats the advantage to the superga/tretorn vs a classic vans or chuck? looks like a similar fit, but I do hate how the toebox in vans cracks and separates so easily. Do these hold up better?

Looks like you have to curl your toes as you walk just to keep them on your feet?

Only thing I'm looking forward to about summer, Vegas, Mexico and probably best part of all seeing what the chicks wearing.

Clothing. Most of my stuff translates pretty well to summer. Probably pick some linens shirts and maybe some looser T's, like toasty I live in the Bay Area if it gets in the 80s we start breaking records.

Saw a couple of CDG stuff I want to pick up and I want to get some Nike flyknits, also got some old white Generic Man sneakers I might paint white, I've tried cleaning them but doesn't really help.

I kinda want to start buying more greens I don't have enough in my wardrobe and it'd be a good summer color too.

I'll be wearing braided bracelets, tanks, chinos, gats, and maybe a lightweight hoodie for night. I need to up my shorts game.

I hate wearing shorts. They make me feel like I'm back in middle school. I hate wearing pants when it's 90+ out even more.

Classic style like purcells. I have a pair of suerpgas, they fit pretty TTS if not slightly tight. I haven't beaten mine into the ground yet, so I can't really comment on how they hold up, but my purcells definetly feel apart quick.

It's all about Tommy Hilfiger shirts for me this summer - I got some stock in for the boyswear store (2-16yrs) and became immediately green with envy. Have since ordered man sizes... just for me!

Yea I have a love hate relationship with shorts. I only have athletic shorts I wear to the gym, hiking, playing sports, etc. Every summer I tell myself I need some shorts but I never buy them. Maybe it's because I have skinny calves. I think it doesn't look right when you wear a tank top with jeans sometimes.

I have the same issue with skinny calves, but I also live in Texas, which feels like the surface of the sun in the summer. Well, actually that would be a better comparison if the surface of the sun had 100% humidity.

I used to be the same way about shorts. Denim is still my true love but I refuse to suffer through SoCal summers any longer. If you take the time to go out and find shorts that arent so baggy, youll see that they dont make your calves look so skinny. And as long as you get some color in your skin it will look fine

Also, lightweight chinos are your friend.

Really, this is true. The narrowness of your calves will already be amplified by the material above your knee not being paired with material below the knee. Basically, it jumps from a wide trunk to a narrow trunk. If you decrease the difference in diameter, by choosing narrower, but not overly slim, shorts, it will look better.
