    I couldn't get a squash court tonight so I figured I might as well go to the gym and run. I remembered this thread and decided to start my workout with pullups and managed seven to start and then fewer and fewer on successive sets. I finished with a bunch more assisted ones on the Gravitron, but I know those don't count.
    A court opened up and I played for an hour and a half instead of running. The pullups/chinups didn't seem to make any difference, so if I remember to do them first, I should get a few sets in each week. There is no way I can do any when I am done playing, though.

    +63 (yesterday) = 3999. Today is a travel day. I don't know what facilties they have at the W, but I usually do lighter workouts on travel, just so I am not drained for the rest of the day. However, I usually do lots of BW exercises because of the lack of decent weight equipment. We'll see how this week goes.

    This was from yesterday - instead of having me do a test set, my trainer had me do 1 chin, 1 dip; 2 chins, 2 dips, 3 chins, 3 dips.

    Freaking weighted dips (first time going with weights) being first today wrecked my pull-ups.

    Bad news. no pullup bar in hotel gym. Probably could use the rest anyway/

    Weighted dips - be careful of the joints. I used to do them with up to 2 plats (90 lbs) strapped, but they wreaked havoc on my shoulders and elbows, to the point where, between those, BJJ practice (too many armbars) and striking practice, my elbows are probably permanently jacked up (I wear a sleeve when I work out now.)

    Dopey. those pyramids are killer. Try up to 10. actually, try for 7 first.

    Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to start with 10lbs instead of the 20lbs I threw on there. I keep my dips to a 90 degree bend in the elbow though, like box squats, to help prevent damage.

    I wanted to try this afternoon, but where I play squash, the dip station is not built into the pullup bar and someone was using it so I did some pullups before I played.

    so . . .

    4121 + 7 + 4 + 4 = 4136
