Probably won't get much love here but these are some of my latest...all going out to International customers. First pair...to Edmonton Alberta and the daughter of a wealthy oilman. Elephant and water buffalo, narrow round toe, 2-1/4" heel.

Second pair...to Geneva, Switzerland or thereabouts. Horween latigo and water buffalo, asymmetric stitch pattern.

Third pair..to Brussels Belgium and a fairly well known architect. Navy alligator, Bone and navy kangaroo filigree tops. Wide box toe.

Very interesting. Although not really to my taste, they certainly are beautiful. Thanks for posting pictures.

Wowza, that's so interesting! Nicely done. I totally understand the client in Albert, but not the European demand.

Cool tho

Who said you won't get love? Damn the yankees, those right there are things of beauty any true Texan would be proud to wear. Especially the last, what with the way it plays in the dichotomy between positive and negative space.

My wife however does not approve of Elephant. I did not feel like showing her the elephant shoe thread.

There's a big cowboy shooter/reenactor community in Europe, especially in Germanic countires. Maybe moreso even than in the states. That said, neither went to a reenactor/shooter.

Thank you! You are the first non-maker who ever commented on the negative/positive space on any boot by any maker I ever ran across. But it is one of my major goals/focus. I salute you for your keen eye...and discerning sensibilities.

I take no credit. My wife is an artist and is the one who pointed out to me how positive/negative can be played with. Since then it's something I've found I've always really enjoyed. I think you've really done a great job with it. The boot reminds me of a photo negative of a wrought iron gate. Really lovely. Bravo again.

Let me ease your mind with respect to the lasts...you may not like them, ce la vie...but they are all the same style.

It's this very reason that some brogues bug me. I don't like where the lacing seems to pinch into the space needed above the wingtip. I wonder if anybody curves the bottom of their lacing.

Beautiful boots. I'm don't wear them myself, but I know a lot of people around here that would love those.

Those are beautiful.

How long does it take you to create boots like these?

Thanks for posting
