this is what I do. Up until last year, I used to buy retail. Now I just look at what I like and look for it online. Only things I buy retail now are clothes and purses for my girlfriend.

http://www.trendtailors.com/ Don is a good man as is his shirtmaker Rosa Liu. They've made a suit, a cord coat and 25 shirts for me. Sorry, Master-Classter, I couldn't figure out how to add to the map in the original post.

Depends on the fabric. I wouldn't waste anybodies time unless I had north of 1200$ budgeted - what he charged me for the cord blazer. He has a HUGE selection of bolts of cloth to choose from.

Great, thanks. Both have been added. Anyone can edit the map, that is anyone who has a google account...

No longer living in Toronto, but a brief plug for Lee at Off the Cuff used men's clothing retailer http://www.offthecuff.ca/ up at #5 Broadway near Yonge and Eglinton. I've been shopping there for many years, since his Mom started up with the store. He's way more laid back than his Mom (who was a tad on the hard sell side) and has a good eye for sizing. It's up on the map, but I've added a more personal review. Whenever I'm in town, I swing by and, unfortunately for my credit card I'm in the big smoke this weekend. 1. Pair of Barracuda slip-ons $50 2. Zegna casual jacket $245 (knocked some off for the volume purchase) 3. Black armani knit tie $50 4. French cuff Paul Smith shirt $70 5. Ryan Roberts wool shirt/sweater $95 6. Harry Rosen black nail head french cuff shirt $70 7. New LBM tan moleskin slacks $125 8. Banana Republic slacks $95 All in pristine shape. Calling in tomorrow in case he gets in a raincoat from a customer who's bringing in some stuff. He's got a nice Burberry there now that's too big ~$400. He's got some nice Etro shirts in at the moment as well. Past scoops: Tiger of Sweden grey blazer ~ $300// Paul Smith 3 button nail head black suit 40R $150 Etro slacks ~$70 Thomas Pink dress shirt ~$70. Not ebay prices, but nowhere near retail and you get to try the stuff on. If you have any good quality duds you want to put on consignment, give him a shout as well.

I haven't had a chance to get a Google account even though Daniel gave me some good instructions.

Can someone please edit the Robert Jones Menswear point. Should anyone need a pair of Woodlore Ultra shoetrees they should go there. Ask for Mary Lou Forsythe and she'll gladly place an order for you. They even put a Robert Jones nameplate on the trees too. It will take approximately a week for them to arrive and they only charge $45.00 CDN per pair. Based on the many calls asking for these trees, Robert Jones is the least expensive.

Obviously you should try and go through the Cedarville affiliate first (especially when they have a deal going on) but this is a nice alternative too.

I am surprised to find a few of my favorite shops missing on this map.

These include Deluxe (right beside Sydneys), Jonathan + Olivia on Ossington, and Jacflash at Queen and Ossington.

These 3 have a great selection of business and as streetwear and denim. The garage sale at Jacflash can be an amazing score, as well as J+Os warehouse sale. They carry APC, BOO, etc. Jacflash now has an in-house men's brand where they have their own line of selvage jeans.
