1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

for all the dress shirt fanatics, i ran across this name as "the" current must have men's shirtmaker located in florence

i read about it in a travel magazine of all places

apparently he is quite young and requires three fittings for a dress shirt and usually takes up to 6 months to make the shirt - no prices were mentioned but i can only imagine

I remember the opening of the Bugelli store in I guess 1995, on the Via Bartolommeo. He indeed offers three fittings and makes a "test" shirt which you can try on.

Prices ranged from $150 to $500, but that was seven years ago...

Apparently, he did an apprenticeship at "Lorenzetti" (on the Via dei Neri), one of my favorite shirt makers.

    Regards,

    E.
