Yeah they aren’t really my kind of thing but I’ll probably try and grab the white hi tops.

The article link posted above the pictures mentions the slip ones are recycled plastic:

“Of the two Veja x Lemaire sneakers, one is a high-top inspired by an Italian military trainer and the other is a slip-on “aqua shoe”; it looks a bit like a skate sneaker, but more sculptural. “We were interested in developing a mix of diving shoes and Chinese slippers,” Lemaire says. “It was a good match, as the Veja design team was already exploring the possibilities of a new technique for knitted [uppers].”

“I love divers and slippers,” Kopp adds. “The neoprene, the elasticity—we used new technology that we developed in Brazil to 3-D knit recycled plastic. This mix created a whole new kind of sneaker [that’s] light, perfect for summer, and enhances the Lemaire silhouettes”

Looks like we’re all in for the white hi-tops. Wonder what the pricing will be like.

You aren't wrong. It's definitely just the Lemaire kool-aid that makes me want a pair.

Do you remember how much those were Toasty?

I’m really bummed out that Kawasaki never re-issued them or made something similar for their mainline.

The thin soles on those make them look unbalanced like a weird kinda wrestling shoe.

Maybe if the Vejas were made in Lemaire's usual chisel toebox then that would've been nice.
