Honestly interested in the topic of polyester usage from Lemaire - Is everyones concern stem from the fact that their prices are still the same and their usage in poly has increased? I understand that they want to improve the durability of the garments, so what other alternatives would make more sense? Is it to lower the prices (if they want to go the poly blend route)? What do you guys reckon?

wool/poly is a very classic suiting fabric, so i think that is pretty obvious as to why they use it.
the silk/poly is how they make their signature dry silk so again, that makes a lot of sense. They have started doing a lot more 100% silk as well.
The nylon they've been using also makes sense for water restistant outerwear.
I don't know. Personally i don't have anyissue with it. 100% natural fibres are generally better but a bit of poly doesn't detract from anything for me personally.

For me I dislike poly use as its bad for the enviroment, in terms of poly blends being harder to recyle (happy to be corrected on this). I think for me is easier to see it as a cost reduction than for durablity reasons, but more becuase you see that happening a lot in other brands.

In that case, if anyone's interested in a once-worn pair of brown suede western boots, size 43, PM me

Looking for $270 shipped, a little less than what I paid

Selling locally (Montreal) - FW22 piped loafers in US 10/EU 43. Pebbled/almond crepe sole. Purchased February '23 via Farfetch for $370 USD/$506 Cad. Wore outside for 5 dry weather days in May (still need to wear until new shoes arrive, so let's say 8-10 days total haha), about 90 minutes a day to attempt to break-in, but giving up on the fit. (between sizes and went in the wrong direction). Treated once with venetian shoe cream and brushed after daily use.

Selling for $250usd/$340 cad. Open to shipping as well, but would have to check destination cost and see if it's feasible.

If anyone has any trousers in a 46 or 48, especially in the self-belted variety, I'd potentially be interested. I'm like a 43" outseam and a lot of the stuff I've come across has been hemmed too short.

Anyone have sizing tips for the piped loafers? I wear EU42 in Common Projects, 41 narrow in Birkenstock. Without thick socks, the Common Projects feel a little big. I intend to wear low socks with the loafers so I imagine I’d be a 41?
