im surprised you find something like the owl delicate. i tried it and passed because it seemed too heavyweight for london winter. same with the duffel last season.

Maybe not delicate, but I would consider it a statement piece - but that has more to do with my personal views on style at the moment than anything else.

it looks quite beautiful! that (but in maxi) and the herringbone also from that season have been on my watch list for a while. maybe will inquire about sizing..

I'm looking to buy a pair of black leather side zips/western with a high/cuban heel. I want the boot to not have a cemented sole... so DVN/Lemaire Boots are out the window. Does Margiela make GYW boots? I want the vibe to be able to match DVN/Lemaire/De Bonne Facture/Stephan Schneider, etc... nothing too elegant (SLP/Celine) and nothing too artisanal (CCP etc)...

Perhaps the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC western boots? They are GYW i believe. They are pretty versatile even with the steel toe cap. Downside is they are harder to come by these days

dope, will do! Yeah I love lemaires clothes but I just can’t buy designer boots that aren’t constructed well. no matter how cool they look

Leather shirt jacket
wool jacquard string pants

I still don’t really know how to wear this shirt jacket other than the runway styling (dark slim shirt, dark slim straight pants, black boots). Everything else kind of makes the silhouette end up being too bulky and wide. This is obviously not a “real” fit but I grabbed the leather as something warmer to throw on To go outside and monitor my kids and figured I’d post.
