Chelsea boots look nice.

I own a pair in black. They’ve been available for a while now, I’m not sure why Lemaire made a post “unveiling” them so late. Regardless I like my pair a lot and am excited to wear it around NYC more once the weather is a tad less rainy and snowy.

Anyone have experience getting the twisted pants tailored?

Know absolutely nothing about tailoring but was wondering if it's easy for them to screw up the a hemming because of the curved stitching of the pants?

Yeah I've seen lots of people get them hemmed, I don't think they're any harder to do than a standard jeans hem. Just make sure it's an alterations person you've had experience with. Where are you located?

(FYI I think they also look cool cuffed)

Anybody have experience spotting fakes? There seems to be some out there of denim pieces. Looking at this jacket from an overseas seller and for input. Thanks

There have been a ton of fakes of this specific jacket getting listed recently so I’d be wary.

Members of the Lemaire group will be having an NYC meetup in Brooklyn at some point within the next 2-4 weeks. Please PM me if you have any interest.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
