So I was thinking about hemming the long shirt if I end up buying it. This one

400

Would that work? Around 2 inches max or maybe 3

What's the point of buying a long shirt if you're just going to hem it?

Well I have a certain length I'm happy with, and the normal shirts are slightly small in length. So I thought purchasing the elongated shirt gives me some material to work with and will therefore enable me to cut it to my desired length.

For tree-fiddy euro why not just get one made for your specific measurements? The fabric doesn't look like anything special, and neither do the buttons. If you're that particular about shirt length I'm sure you'd have some other tweaks for the design as well? Obviously I'm not aware of your financial situation but spending that much money on a shirt and possibly spending more to alter it seems a little silly.

I kind of want to offer a balance and encourage you to do whatever you want, but Lemaire pricing is becoming outrageous and I'd rather discourage you from buying it, for the possibility that he'll make slightly less money and price reasonably next season (he won't).

Dude for real. The prices used to be really modest for the quality, but now it's priced like every other designer. It's like a beautiful person who just realized they're beautiful.

edit: actually, looking at the webstore again, it doesn't look like the prices have increased for everything. blazers cost about the same as they always have. I think the big change was they added higher priced goods to their lineup (he def wasn't making 1500 Euro jackets a few years ago), while leaving most everything else unchanged.

If anyone is still looking for a proxy for the in-store only items, fire me a PM.

A few members here have been kind enough to help me out in the past so I'm willing to pay back the Karma points when I can

Coats are pretty pricey at retail now. Still somewhat doable though through preorder discounts and cheap Canadian dollar value (SP).

No Maxi coat in Owl or boots with the seam down the middle that I've been dreaming of for the past six months... HUGE disappointment

Could someone kindly inform me of what trousers are being worn in the following pics.

Matchesfashion have a Wool flannel pair retailing for £280 which seem to be the
same, but I can't know for certain. All the pants above are described as being elasticated in either Wool/cotton gabardine
