Legit check on watch???

Hey, not sure if this is a good place for this but I am trying to determine whether this watch is authentic or not.

model number is 119615. I'm not sure if there is a way to tell from those pics, I did a quick search and was amazed at how real knock-offs are starting to look.

I foolishly grabbed one off ebay a few months ago thinking I got a great deal. Came in the vuitton box with all the papers and looked perfect!!! the Automatic movement was so bad it barely even kept time, and the crown just felt too flimsy glad the guy gives refunds.

Oh wait, it's supposed to tell time? Fake or not, designer watches are meant for show.

To your original question, the watch looks cheap and pretty sure would feel cheap too. Buttons that look like they came from a Timex stop watch and strap from a Casio and a LV branding to sweeten the deal...

have you actually had any experience with a real vuitton watch?
you do realize LVHM owns Zenith and Tag Heuer. they even use zenith movement in some of their automatics.

I wouldnt catagorized them with most "fashion" watch brands, maybe hermes. unlike armani and burberry which are manufacured by fossil, LV are of great quality.

Do you have a link? The dial looks cheaply finished, as does the movement. I haven't looked at real LV watches up close, so maybe that's just how they are (when I look at display back watches they're usually from top 5 makers, so that's what I'm comparing to). When I googled that model number, replica sites were the first to come up.

Ask for pics of the box/papers too.

its an ebay pawn shop i guess... dude has 2000 sales with good feedback and offers refunds. doesnt come with a box.

hmmm.... I really like the LV Tambour watch. I think I see where you pulled those images and I think it's too good to be true. Also, there's no signage on the crown and other buttons.

On the Tambour there should also be L O U I S V U I T T O N stamped around the dial on the case. You can kind of see both in this pic from the LV website. Hard to make out whether the stamped lettering is on those imgs because it's black, but the smooth crown and buttons are obvious.

it is imprinted with louis vuitton around the case, just hard to tell because of the matte black and pics. although the knock-offs are too.

Looking at other LV watch auctions, I see too many differences in things like dials, casebacks and overall quality appearance of the watches to say it's real. You could vet on Timezone or something like that, but I'd go go an LV store and look at some watches before deciding for sure. I still maintain that the caseback, dial and movement look too low budget for LV.

Also start looking for replacement straps that hopefully might fit that LV watch, nothing worse than a hideous LV paperweight...
