If you get the Japanese twill I think it looks a lot dressier. Left Field is a more rugged aesthetic. Can't decide if I want the caramel ducks or herringbone twill. Would kop both but don't have that kind of money right now...

All measurements on Left Field's site. They changed a bit this season, I wouldn't go off blue in green. For example the caramel chinos are now TTS, whereas before they were a bit bigger.

Just to add -- Christian at Left Field was extremely helpful after I emailed asking about the fits. I bought the duck canvas a couple weeks back and he answered all my questions about fit very thoroughly. I haven't had much stretch, and don't expect anything more than any other chinos. For reference -- I measured the waist of my Docker Waders to reference what to buy in Left Field.

I can't recommend these enough. They were my first Left Fields, but definitely won't be my last.

Has anybody tried on or picked up the Gray 16 oz. Heavy Loop Terry Crossgrain Crew? What is the fit like?

I am trying to decide between the Brown Duck or Cone Indigo Selevedge chinos? Anybody own either? How did you size them?

All measurements are on the site. Sizing wise the waists are as tagged or even a bit smaller than tagged so keep that in mind. Good amount of room in the thighs which is nice for me. You can always email Christian at

Gah. I waited too long. Again. Was busy, and waiting for a bunch of work to settle (and the checks to arrive) and now my size is out. Oh well. Perhaps I'll jump on the indigo canvas....

As for the fit, it's a lot fuller in the thigh and a bit wider all around. Works better for me, Epaulet is a bit too slim normally. Blueingreen has a Studio D'Artisan ducks that are slimmer:http://blueingreensoho.com/site/ind...ge&category_id=118&product_id=10098&Itemid=62

Should be something at blueowl as well...
