Is Left Field planning on doing a tweed denim again?? I really wish I had snagged a pair.

There is nothing in the works right now. That was a one time fabric that was released over a year ago. Left Field tries to change things up regularly and find new and interesting fabrics. The tweed was nice and I have had several others mention it as well. I will pass on the comment of interest to the designer. Maybe we can do something in the not so distant future.

Just got the last 28 Left Fields in today from the Context sale. One feature I liked right away was the lifted coin pocket. Construction is solid, I'd say on par with Sugar Canes. The denim quality is really unique. I mean I like them, it's great stuff the slub and all but texture of it is just odd. A low point was the feel of them on. I know a few people really like it but to me it just feels itchy like starched burlap. I don't know if Ryan or Will or whoever did it just to fuck with me but it feels like they ran the jeans through a bush before sending to me. Also I'm a little put off by the fit as I was expecting a slightly more modest cut from them. I'm probably making them sound bad but overall I'm proud to own them. For now though they're staying in a box until I decide whether to sell or just wear them. [IMG]

That's the slub. Love it or sell it in B&S!

Fit looks great , though, really. Give them a soak--will accentuate the texture at first, but will also get rid of some starch and make them relax a little more as you wear them. Nice denims!

it'll smooth out after a few wears, soak them again. If you really don't like the slub, put them in the dryer with no/low heat and it'll be smoother.

I just got a pair of one-wash tweed Left Fields from Yoox. The color is a bit "farmer blue" right now, but the slub texture is certainly unique and i feel like they'll wear really well. agreed about the quality- really good construction.

The brown duck canvas chinos need to be done again. I missed out and I know a bunch of other people who wished they had jumped on that.

    Left Field Spring/Summer 2011 Preview
    [IMG]
We are just starting to see fall winter arrive, but I wanted to give everyone a glimpse of a few pieces from Left Field's S/S11 collection. Christian, Left Field's designer, continues to nail the Americana vibe with modern fits, understated details, and easy to wear fabrics while making everything in the USA.
The denim and pant selection continues to grow each season and button downs are well fitted with a nice taper down the body and slim in the arms.
All button downs use Japanese fabrics and Trocus pearl buttons and are made in New York City. This is one of my favorites.

This is Left Field's Cone White Oak denim which we currently have in stock and will continue to stock through next spring. We shall be introducing other Left Field denim styles later this fall. Starting with this fall's collection there are a couple minor changes to the denim which I wanted to point out.
1st, back pockets have been lowered by about 1/2". Minor change, but I like the feel a little better. It is hard to notice the difference uless you have the previous season next to it to compare.
2nd, the coin pocket has been lowered. It use to sit along the waistline which is covered by the belt. Now it will be exposed while wearing a belt.
My personal favorite are the "Angus Young" shorts named after the AC/DC guitarist's trademark uniform. Three of my favorites are above which are hickory stripe, railroad stripe, and chambray which all use soft Japanese fabrics and all of the standard details used in their pants and chinos (Japanese chambray pocket linings, Coroza buttons, etc.).
