A true pioneer, more than many folk realise. Was doing drum and bass in the late 60's - basic but around 25 years ahead of everyone else. A brilliant producer and mad as a fish to boot (or maybe why). I'm a big fan of King Tubby and his reverb driven dubs, but LP was all round true dub / reggae genius (and I don't use that word lightly).
