I don't think this has been discussed here. I just saw this on the Selectism website and I thought it would appeal to the EG/Woolrich/choose-your-Americana/Workwear-label lovers. I'm assuming it's a Japan-only deal. Does anyone know any more about this collection?

No idea about the collection, but Japan really is a wet dream when it comes to finding reasonably priced clothes for fit / skinny dudes. Just a day shopping there netted me more good-fitting clothes for cheap than a month of looking around here.

Thanks, those all look like great pieces.

I really like the olive drab 101-J.

Japan seems to have a far greater appreciation for American clothing than America does.

I need to hit up Salina, KS. seeing that on the label of one of the garments has me thinking there'd be a good chance of thrifting some suhweeeet jeans next time I'm headed home.

Japan is good test market, i think things are released there to determine how its going to do. Ofcourse SF tastes never translates into mass market success, so if we like it alot, then never expect it to make it further than japan. :p

EG/Levi's is exactly what I was thinking. The type 1 jean jacket with same-color stitching reminds me of the Type 2 that EG did with Levi's.[/I]
