Going by the pictures I see around here, most of you live in some cold ass places. This might be a little early for this thread, but seeing as I am in a tropical place, I might as well ask.

What are the best Leather Sandals out there? Quality and Style wise? In your experience. I just had my pair of Gordon Rush break on me and am currently wearing my Cole Haan beaters.

No guarantee they are the best leather sandals but try Mephisto.

I bought some American Egale leather sandals for $50, wore them almost everyday and they lasted like 6 years, no joke until I blew them out running. Of course they had no tread after like two years, but super comfortable.

I have some foam van's that have lasted like 6 months and there almost ready to be retired.

South Willard has some interesting looking thong sandals (made in US, Vibram sole). Does anyone here have experience w/ them? Link to South Willard site

I prefer the non leather slip on type, but my wife's lv thongs still look good after several full summers of use, leather wears in very well and patina looks very nice.

I appreciate the link on the South Willard sandals. Those are a great looking thong. Very European/South American looking. The sandals I find on sites like Zappos look cheap.
I recently busted a thong on a pair of RLPL thong sandals. Trying to find something sharp, to replace them, has been difficult. Most sandals I find, look like something a fat, bald tourist getting off a cruise ship would wear.
Due to my job, I'm in and out of sand and the ocean all day and like to slide into something, that looks decent, when I'm on land.
Cheers
