Hi all,

I am looking for a leather satchel to use for university.

Hopefully I will also upgrade to a new Macbook Air soon.

Ideally I am looking for a 13" or so bag with a slot for the Macbook.

I quite like this http://www.tomhidedesigns.com/Satchels_AUD.html style but the smallest size is 15".

Does anyone know of another nice leather satchel brand?

Thank you

Mike

Saddleback Leather is good but their sizes run pretty small. And they're not cheap.

Hmm, they seem to be very good quality but I don't like the silver hardware.

Any other suggestions?

wow the leather beautiful but, like most nice things it will be expensive. you might want to sign up for Gilt and wait for any them to have a sale on items like the one in the link. If you're not too adamant about having leather you can always opt for canvas; it's usually much cheaper and if you get it on sale, it's even better.

good luck with your purchase and remember; don't pay full msrp unless you've exhausted all other avenues.

I have a Ranger laptop bag from Custom Hides and have been very pleased with it.
