Ok, I posted in the Questions thread, and have spent several hours searching, and I can find nothing on leather pants.
On top of that, my own online browsing has turned up almost nothing, everything is either a giagantic shapeless pair of biker pants or totally awesome, but has a 4 digit price tag.

I want something like those, just slim, plain, leather pants. Without going TOO insane on price.
    Any recommendations?

Step 1. Buy oversized leather pants.
Step 2. Have them tailored to fit.
Step 3. Come out of the closet and hope your parents still love you.

Leather pants are not really practical every day wear... unless you're into the S&M and rave club thing.

They get hot and they don't breathe very well. I'd stay away from them.

I would rock these in a semi-ironic way, and yes, I know leather pants aren't practical.

But I'm 19...I'm running out of time to wear whatever the fuck I want without having to worry about silly things like the fact that leather pants are absurd.

How much are you willing to spend?? The only way not to spend a crazy amount of money would be to wait for a sale at online retailers (would still cost you over 700 USD.. with 50% off) or go to ebay and see what you can find. I would love to get my hands on some dsquared2 ones, but it´s just too much money.. the same goes for some burberry prorsum that i´ve seen around. Can´t spend that much on pants.... I think so...

First of all, if you're going to wear them ironically: don't. And stop using the word "rock" as a synonym to "wear"; you "rock" something if you fucking kill it and it looks amazing on you.

As for the pants, they don't have to be uncomfortable. I have a pair of stretch lamb leather pants that are quite comfy.

What's an "insane" price to you?

How often do you wears yours? Still, while its not my type of pants, I am amazed at fastidious SF types who think nothing of dropping $300 on fashion edge jeans and khakis and look in askance at the price of leather pants.

There is certainly a demand for them in the market!

Good call on the word choice...noted. What kind/where did you get your pair?

I wouldn't like to drop more than a couple hundred, but if something is really fucking rad I could be convinced to spend more.

I think you will need to spend at least $400 to get anything decent. Mine are from a Japanese brand called 5351 Pour les Hommes. They're not available anymore.

They are made of a thin lambskin bonded with stretch cotton. I paid about $450. Retail is closer to $900.

$400 I am fine with, I wouldn't LOVE to go much higher, only because I will still be wearing my denim the majority of the time. These will probably be party/weekend attire, but I love the pair you posted, that's exactly the kind of thing I'm going for.

I like the fit of those Unc. Again, very Squall like [IMG] And the price you paid is quite decent. For less you´ll get ones that borderline on effeminate or baggy ones, and that´s just wrong.

One of the reason I´d like to own a pair is because I don´t have big legs, where I know they´ll look weird, so I know if I got a good pair, I could pull them off.

I'll ask again, have you looked into waxed denim?
