Anyone have any links for a ncie leather carryon/overnight bag?

I am looking for something easy to find. I kind of want a Louis Vittiuon bag, but would never pay the money.

Any help is appreciated

I just bought this Barbour explorer overnight bag, and it's been working out nicely so far.

I like the bag but how heavy is it? I ask because some leather bags look nice but are a burden to carry because of the weight.

I am on the same quest to find the perfect travel duffle and here is what I like:

1. Moore and Giles daybag and overnighter. They have a bison hide that can be done sueded and smooth. I love the chocolate on chocolate look of the bag.

2. Morgan Grays Grant Overnighter. The quality of leather is unbelievable!

3. Tusting has an overnighter/weekender that can be done in kudu (basically a horse sized antelope). Incredibly soft hide!

4. Mulholland Brothers Longhorn/Shorthorn.

5. Others you can look into: Tumi, Coach, etc.

Do a search for these and let me know what you think. Also, if anyone has experience with these bags, I would REALLY LOVE to hear your experiences. I love the look of the sueded hides but I think they would be difficult to clean and keep the appearance up.

There's all kinds of duffle bag threads lately in the months since you posted. A search for some various pics and such may help you out...

Gilt Groupe had a bunch (RLPL) for sale recently. I just saw one in the flesh and wished I'd picked one up from Gilt. Someone was selling one in B&S, IIRC.
