Good evening,
I just have a general question related to a business casual environment. To provide a little background, I work at a public accounting firm that utilizes a business casual dress code. I work in the tax department, so I am not at a client’s office on a regular basis. I have a formal pair of shoes in the office for when I meet with clients. For the sake of this question, I am just focusing on business casual. My firm let’s us wear jeans, polos, and is fairly casual. I see some people wear various suede shoes and loafers.
We have a dress code that specifically states to not wear moccasins; however, I think of that as being related to moccasin slippers and non-leather moccasins. I have a pair of leather Minnetonka moccasins that I just purchased (see picture). Do you think that these moccasins are business casual appropriate or do you think that I should avoid wearing them to the office?
All advice is greatly appreciated!
