I'm waiting on an Aero myself. 13 weeks and counting. The devaluation of the GBP is slamming Aero with orders. I'll report back once I get it.

Edit: have you considered Vanson's flight jackets? I have three of their motorcycling jackets so I don't have specific experience with their Mustang Fighter Pilot (an A2 replica) or others, but they're considerably easier to find than Aeros. Quality is good as well, so long as you keep to the US made Vansons.

^^ Sorry, cannot say that I have. However, you may want to check out thefedoralounge.com and search on their Outerwear subforum. Those guys know leather jackets like nobody's business.

I have one from flightjackets.com and I love it. Excellent quality and excellent customer service. They don't do MTM but they do offer long sizes. Highly recommended.

Just a curiosity, but any Canucks know what sort of duty you get slapped with on an Aero?

Buzz Rickson, Real Mccoy and Eastman are all better than the jackets you mentioned.

On a $500 USD (or thereabouts) jacket? $650 CAD: about $200 CAD.

Just got my Aero Cafe Racer a few weeks back and I love the jacket. I had a Schott years ago which I loved, but as far as I'm concerned, there is no comparison. The quality of the Aero is much higher.

Well, I pulled the trigger on a new aero highwayman. I just got in on the $599 price before it went up. I'll let you all know how it looks when it arrives. Customer service has been excellent!
