I ended up trying an Overland shearling because I wanted a removable hood and not white-as-snow shearling. There's just not that many options out there for any price. But anyway, this one is cheap and good. Every one I've ever seen has a blocky waist but when I have some time after Christmas I want to try to add some leather waist cinches and see what I can do just to shape it a bit more. Good quality for anyone looking to spend under a thousand US. Most of their models are pretty dorky but the one above is modern.

Was curious on getting one of those fine Creek leathers lightning clones but all the fits online look a bit too tight but some of the Japanese dudes wear it pretty relaxed but looking at the dudes from selfedge it looks like it's painted on.

I have to go extra far to find that particular model it seems, so anyone with experience would be so kind as to describe the fit would be very appreciated. I am also tall and lanky, but stuff in 40 generally fits me well.

For anybody looking at the Sandro shearling in camel, it just got discounted by 30% on their site.

Linky.

Speaking of Lemaire leathers, this really, really nice suede one is an extra 30% off the already 30% off on moda operandi. Too much overlap with what I have but it looks awesome

Any thoughts on Aero as a maker?
One negative with Aero to be aware of is they are notorious for using inadequate zippers. I was wary of this when I ordered and sure enough I have an issue after just a few weeks of wear. It's small but makes it tough to zip - looking into options to get it fixed. If you put "Aero zipper issues" into a search you will find a ton of people have had issues.
