Yeah, I have a jacket made by them, and then altered by them. It's now a bit tight, a few years later, but it's a solid piece of work.Anyone have experience with Johnson leathers?
Thank you. I’m having a hard time deciding which one to go with.agree cafe racer a tad nicer but both aren't too bad
I'd check out Johnson Leathers. In SF.
Anyone have experience with Johnson leathers?
I got a type 3 trucker in 2.5oz cowhide in the works from Johnson's. Just waiting for my fit jacket, I'll post pics when it's finished.
Did you go into the shop or are you working with them on the order from a distance?
As much as I like and want a classic cross zip Schott, I think the Schott Cafe Racer fits me best. What do you all think?
This is a great fit and a nice waffle cone. Here are a few pictures from last year of the jacket Alan made for me from Horween Vermont HH. Fully custom
Very happy with his work.
I do like the rider unzipped and I think it may look better than the cafe racer unzipped. Thoughts?Try the rider unzipped and see what you think. I go both ways, but I do tend to agree that unzipped double riders often look better.
