@walds11 i’m not particularly great design of closing but I try not to reinvent the wheel so I recommend cool around to see what people did with their Aero and youll get some great ideas. IMHO dark seal Vicenza and red tartan go well.

Same here on all fronts. I’ve been looking around a lot to see what people did with their Aeros. Yeah, he’s got some red tartan makeup liner and maybe a wine cotton sateen lined in the arms. Perfection!

@walds11 I don't mean to sound like a "know it all" or anything of the sort but FYI lightweight wool is actually much COOLER that cotton...cotton tends to hold in moisture and become more of an insulator and wool draws moisture away and keeps you cooler longer...Just my....

Nah, it’s all good. That’s why I frequent the various forums...for advice and opinions.

Imma go with Aberdeen lightweight tartan wool with wine cotton sateen in the sleeves.

I have almost everything nailed down, except for:

-Dark tan (or another color) stitching for slight contrast

-Highwayman or August collar (the later is a more refined collar)

-Extend zipper all the way down (sinnedk recommended this because the gap when not extended all the way down doesn’t look good fashion wise)

It took me less than 3 minutes from when I saw this photo until I had my size in my cart ready to check out. Now, do I pull the trigger?
I recently got an Addict and it's extremely nice, definitely go TTS. As NN has said before, there really aren't any surprises with the fit. Order from Farfetch if you can, free shipping and returns if it doesn't work out.

Also just started the process for a custom Aero board racer and cant decide between the cotton sateen and tartan fabrics :brick:

@walds11 thats good advice from @Watchman1 about the lightweight wool tartans. They don’t wear hot at all. They hand is very silky. Honestly you might not even realize it’s wool. I love all the great colors too. Good choice going for one.

@RXS09 which addict do you have?

Also definitely consider those tartan wools for Aero!

AD-02L. Bought from Farfetch during their Black Friday sales, ended up being $1400. I really wanted the AD-01 in horse which wasn't in stock at the time, but of course now it is

It fits good actually. Fairly trim fit along the whole silhouette. Can adjust the waist a bit with the straps but I wouldn't exactly call it a loose or even boxy fit.

It is something different from the bikers and perfecto I own. And the collar is just great when it gets cold outside.

Also, it was a steal at 50% off.
