Blake Hedley is doing a black Friday sale 20% off with a code BLACK20.

I have a few of their jackets and they're not bad for the price.
If you don't mind, what do you like/not like about Blake Hedley? Their shearling jackets are notably cheaper than most RTW options. I've been considering it for this season or next year.

Not much I don't like other than my overshirt jacket had a pocket sewn shut that I can't undo. I'm not an expert on jacket construction or leather quality so I can't really tell if they're using high quality leather or if the jacket was put together well. I like my jackets from them and they seemed to be decently priced.

I'm loving the whiskey trucker I just got.
Fit is great, suede is great, and I wanted buttons not snaps.
Ticked all my boxes.

I have the mustard suede reed. The collar is turning dark brown from my neck. I don't know how to stop that other than wearing turtle neck sweaters which I don't own any of.

Shoot Blake an email, he's been pretty responsive when I've had a question, but I think this would take care of it.

Lmao some people need to get out more

look at the Schott website there must be a Black Friday sale

That navy cafe racer caught my eye, maybe someday. Nothing else really appeals to me.

And yeah, that MA-1 project is more hoops than I'm willing to jump through for a niche in my wardrobe

How did you guys size for your Blake jackets? Your normal size (S,M,L)?

Anybody rocking an Iron Heart suede trucker? It's caught my eye lately.

Imo most leather truckers are fundamentally the same. The key is getting one that fits you well.

If I were to get one, it would probably be the Aero version, since it was a collab with LVC and has cool details. But much like denim Type III jackets, it's really about how you wear it and I've seen the cheap ones end up looking way better than premium ones, as a result.

EDIT: Switched out the link for the specific Aero/LVC Type III I had in mind, though the other one is cool too.

To all the folks here who think FCL jackets are too long. I put my FCL leon custom on for a metal show tonight, it is a solid 2-3 inches shorter than CCP/RO which is what I generally wear and I am genuinely trying to get used to sleeves ending at the wrist and not the knuckles :p
