If I ever go missing and someone screencaps the reporter and asks about the leather jacket I swear to God

Footage of Derek being discovered and released:

"D. . . Did he wear it . . . open?"

Whoever recommended the J-100 and its derivatives for tall guys with athletic figures needs to be canonized, because I just got this vintage Brooks cafe for $80 and it fits me like a dream.

It's an amazing pattern. There's like 6 extra inches in the waist that I'll probably try to get removed some time in the future but it doesn't blouse out in any way. Gotta take some saddle soap and saphir to it either way :)

I've also put in an order for a custom FiveStar trucker jacket, so when that arrives I'll post pictures and my measurements+the order instructions I sent to help out anyone on the fence about ordering.

Looks fantastic. I wonder how many guys go through several custom or japanese repro jackets, nit picking every stitch and measurement for years and then eventually find an inexpensive vintage jacket that fits like it was made for him.

Athletic as in a big chest-to-waist drop? The Indian Ranger/Fidelity Ranger jacket pattern is like that. I saw one going for $80 recently. What's your chest size?

EDIT: I looked up the listing and it's down to $50!

What's everyone's general opinion on unlined leather? Say, cafe racer in cowhide or whatever. Intolerable? You'd pay extra and get it lined aftermarket? You'd wear it less?

@Understatesman makes breaking the jacket in more painful. Even more if you go for a super slim fit. I wouldn’t have an unlined jacket lined after the fact though.
