It's also apparently a suede, and not a roughout, which I much prefer for durability, but I am looking again.

Not that it matters to you or to anyone but in my 1st language there is no word that I know of for roughout, so we just call it suede.

Wait, how did you set that up? I emailed them several times and never heard anything back. I've got a jacket I'd love to alter.

I live in Oakland so I was able to walk in without issue. I would try calling them; their hours are a little short at only mon-thurs, but I think they're there 9ish-5. Zoltan was a real pleasure to work with.

I'm thinking of letting go of my Falcon Garments custom moto. It was a painstaking process to get it done, but I was targeting St. Laurent dimensions and, appropriately, I have grown in the midsection since last year, probably permanently. I still like it, though, so it's tough to decide.

Even the nice areas are pretty damned gritty and grimy, which has absolutely accelerated during Covid. That said we live near Pill Hill and it's so walkable to so many things; we really love it. Also, AET is right across the street from Berkeley Bowl, probably the greatest supermarket ever.

Lots of changes in JLS-so many new units going up in the area.

Honestly, Lake Merritt is one of the best city parks I have ever seen: just gorgeous. I don't know if we'll live here forever, but we are really enjoying it while we do.

30's style sport jackets are gonna be the hotness.

Blackened Brown Vicenza PHM popping mad grain. Stickers and decals do nothing to remove the topcoat, but zipper area and arm creasing is starting the process.

I mean, to be fair, most English speakers don;t know the term either. It's a nerd term for leather nerds.

So I got my IH back from advanced European tailors and have been wearing it around. The work they did is excellent and I can’t tell the sleeves were altered at all. The silhouette of the sleeve even seems the same.

He decided to take them up at the cuff end and move the zippers up. He said the underarm gussets make it more difficult to do at the shoulder. Total cost was $135, and I’m very pleased.

Zoltan is the man. We send so much work to him.
